It’s been a year since we gathered at Shoshone Point to share memories of our dear friend Keith, beloved brother & uncle, and canyon legend (in his own mind).
In that time, I have gathered as many chapters of Keith’s writing on the topic of his life at Phantom Ranch as I could. Many thanks to his friend and caregiver, Connie Montes, and any others who helped him preserve these stories of his time in the Canyon.
What to call this book? He didn’t leave us a title. May I propose that after you read it you suggest one? (Keith refused to be defined by his vision so let’s leave that out. He barely mentions it in the book.)
